Same creature sculpt. I took another run at detailing him. Also tried out some of zbrush's texturing tools. Its been about a 10 hours of detailing work. I'm getting a little tired of looking at this guy so I think its time to move on. Maybe I'll come back to him at some point but for now I'm calling this done.

Sculpted a girl this time. I was inspired by a vid I saw by the artist Slipgate. I wanted to explore some of the techniques he's doing in the vid. I decided to focus a bit more on trying to keep her more human-esque rather than going full blown demon.

Okay, so here we go. I guess I should start with talking a little about me. My name is Mark. I currently work at Spark Unlimited as a senior environment artist. I've been working in the video game industry since 2000. Before that, I worked as a comic book penciler and illustrator. Over the years I have worked as concept artist, texture artist, modeler, lead artist and art director. I've been lucky enough to work with clients such as Pepsi, Honda, DC Comics, Marvel Comics and Image Comics. Hopefully, this little area of the internet will develop into a little showcase for some of my work. I'm hoping to keep this more up to date than my website!
